Amman, Sept. 15 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD10.8 million Tuesday, with 5.6 million shares changing
hands through 4,741 contracts.
The general price index edged up 0.18% to close at 4,106 points.
The financial sector index rose 0.31% and the industrial sector
gained 0.20%, while the services sector index slipped 0.11%.
Of the 106 companies traded during the session, 48 posted gains and
27 recorded losses compared with their previous closing prices.
