Amman, Sept. 2 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
totaled JD11.5 million on Wednesday, as 4.1 million shares changed
hands through 3,502 transactions.
The general price index rose 0.35 percent to close at 4,037 points,
against the last performance.
At the sector level, financial and services indexes rose 0.38% and
0.30%, while the industrial benchmark surged 0.30%.
Comparing closing prices for the 102 traded companies, 30 firms
posted share price gains, while 36 others went down, against
previous sessions.
