Amman, July 23 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
totaled JD11.7 million on Thursday, with 3.7 million shares traded
through 3,658 transactions.
The ASE general price index closed at 3,932 points, up 0.03 percent.
Of the 94 companies traded, 38 gained while 28 declined compared with
their previous closing prices.
By sector, the industrial index rose 0.59 percent, the services index
fell 0.45 percent, and the financial index gained 0.12 percent.
