Amman, March 30 (Petra) — Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) topped JD24 million on Monday, with 4.1 million shares changing hands through 4,095 transactions, as the benchmark index closed 0.27 percent higher at 3,639 points.
The industrial sector index rose 2.03 percent, while services fell 0.18 percent and the financial sector closed down 0.10 percent.
Of 94 companies on the index, 24 posted gains, 37 recorded declines and the rest were flat.
