Amman, June 29 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index
rose 0.5 percent in Monday’s trading, closing at 3,844 points.
Turnover reached JD13.7 million, with 5.4 million shares changing
hands through 4,209 transactions.
The services index gained 2.25 percent, while the industrial and
financial indices fell 0.21 percent and 0.12 percent, respectively.
Of 90 companies, 29 recorded share-price gains and 27 declined.
