Amman, July 18 (Petra) – Bahrain Defense Force General Command said
on Saturday its air defenses intercepted and destroyed a number of
Iranian missiles and drones targeting the kingdom.
The General Command, quoted by the Bahrain News Agency said in a
statement that Iran continues its systematic aggression through
attacking civilians in the kingdom.
The Defense Force reiterated that “all its weapons and units are at
the highest levels of readiness, and are on high alert to protect the
Kingdom.”
The deliberate use of missiles and drones to target civilians and
private property is a flagrant violation of international
humanitarian law, it said.
It urged citizens and residents for caution, avoid any suspicious
objects from the “brutal” attacks, and report them immediately.
The Iranian news agency quoted the Revolutionary Guard as saying it
destroyed with ballistic missiles a major artificial intelligence
center in Bahrain used by the US to identify its targets.
