Amman, Sept. 9 (Petra) — The Embassy of the People’s Republic of
China in Jordan said it is following complaints filed by Jordanian
consumers about a specific car model manufactured by a Chinese
company, stressing its concern for product quality and safety and for
protecting consumer rights.
In a statement on Wednesday, the embassy said its Economic and
Commercial Office had recently noted reports in some Jordanian media
outlets about complaints from Jordanian consumers over a specific
model produced by one of China’s automotive companies.
The embassy said it attached importance to product quality and safety
and the protection of consumer rights, adding that it had already
contacted the company concerned regarding the matter.
It expressed confidence that the manufacturer, agents, and
distributors would handle the issue appropriately in accordance with
relevant laws and regulations.
