Amman, Sep. 27 (Petra) –Director General of Development and
Employment Fund (DEF), Mansour Wreikat, and Head of Cities and
Villages Development Bank (CVDB), Waseem Haddad, on Sunday discussed
joint cooperation and coordination avenues.

The discussions focused on supporting entrepreneurial and
developmental projects, empowering youth and entrepreneurs, enhancing
employment opportunities, and improving the quality of services
provided to beneficiaries.

According to a joint statement, both sides called for orchestrating
efforts, exchanging expertise, and leveraging both institutions’
avilable resources.

As for its goals, this collaboration aims to support implementation
of programs and projects that yield developmental and economic
impact, serve citizens, boost job opportunities, and support small
and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The statement said these efforts align with objectives and
priorities of the Economic Modernization Vision, mainly youth
empowerment, investment stimulation, economic growth, and job
creation.

This meeting reflects the fund’s commitment to strengthening
cooperation with national institutions and building “effective”
partnerships that support the Kingdom’s economic and social
development journey.

Talks also underscore commitment to fostering job creation,
empowering entrepreneurs, and contributing to the achievement of
sustainable development.
