New York, July 2 (Petra) — The Dow Jones Industrial Average, the
largest US market index, rose 594 points on Thursday to reach 52,900
points, marking a 1.14% increase.
In contrast, the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index dropped by 207
points, falling to 25,832 points, which represents a 0.80% decline.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 index closed flat, holding steady at 7,483
points.
In the commodities market, the price of US West Texas Intermediate
(WTI) crude oil settled at $68.46 per barrel.
