Amman, July 9 (Petra) – El Hassan Youth Award (EYA) concluded its
first Bronze Level camp for female school students for 2026, held at
the award’s permanent camp from July 6 to 8.

63 female students from Ministry of Education schools across the
Kingdom’s governorates engaged, alongside others from the “Siraj”
project in Irbid.

According to a statement issued by the EYA’s office on Thursday, the
camp was organized as part of the Expeditions Program, one of the
award’s 4 main activities.

The program was implemented after participants fulfilled requirements
through a “comprehensive” training schedule to develop life and
leadership skills, promote self-reliance and experiential learning,
and prepare young women to assume responsibility and actively
contribute to community service.

The camp exemplified social inclusion and equal opportunities,
bringing together female students from public schools, alongside
participants from the “Siraj” project.

The statement said this effort reflects the award’s commitment to
delivering its programs to youth’s diverse groups in a “safe and
stimulating” training environment that fosters values ​​of
coexistence, cooperation, and teamwork.

The camp also featured military drills, marching exercises, and
physical fitness training aimed at enhancing discipline and
commitment.

Additionally, handicrafts and woodworking workshops were conducted in
collaboration,, which developed the participants’ practical and
creative skills.
