Amman, Sept 5 (Petra) – The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission
(EMRC) said on Saturday it received 1,183 applications for licenses
in various sectors in July, 5 of which in the oil and derivatives
sector were not approved.
The applications were: 343 in the radiation and nuclear work sector,
16 electricity and renewable energy, 539 natural resources, and 285
oil and derivatives, the commission said on its website.
