Brussels, July 02 (QNA) – European stocks closed higher at the close of trading on Thursday.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index rose 9.15 points, or 1.4 percent, to close at 648.46. The UK’s FTSE 100 index climbed 174.53 points, or 1.6 percent, to 10,652.
France’s CAC 40 index gained 137.57 points, or 1.65 percent, to 8,474. Germany’s DAX index advanced 506.12 points, or 2 percent, to 25,546. (QNA)
