European Stocks Open HigherBrussels, 6 Aug 2026 (ONA) – European stock indexes rose at the start of trading today, while positive macroeconomic indicators and strong corporate earnings supported the markets, offsetting the impact of declines in technology stocks in Asian markets. Among the major European markets, France’s CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange rose 0.67 percent, surpassing the 8,700-point level and reaching a new record high for the third consecutive day.
