Fair weather forecast through Tuesday-JMD

Amman, July 4 (Petra) – The weather on Saturday will be fair in most
areas, while it will be relatively hot in the desert regions and hot
in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be
northwesterly and moderate, becoming active at times, mainly in the
desert regions.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), a slight
rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, as the weather will
remain substantially unchanged as the day earlier.

The JMD added that some low-level clouds are forecast to appear in
the Kingdom’s north and central regions.

The weather will remain moderate on Monday and Tuesday, while it will
be blistering in the desert regions, the Jordan Valley, the Dead
Sea, and Aqaba, as low-level clouds are expected in the Kingdom’s
north.

Today’s maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman range between
31-16 degrees Celsius, while the level
in the northern mountains will stand at 26-14C, and the desert areas
at 37-19C.

Meanwhile, the JMD said the Dead Sea and Gulf of Aqaba will see a
scorching 40C, dropping to 25C at night.
