Amman, July 16 (Petra) – Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hakim Shebli
received the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, His Royal Highness Prince
Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, at the Ministry of Finance
headquarters on Thursday.
During the meeting, Shebli and Prince Mansour discussed the
“distinguished” bilateral relations and developments in the economic
situation, as well as a number of issues of common interest, aimed
to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly
nations.
Both sides affirmed the “deep-rooted and strong” Jordanian-Saudi
relations, which are based on solid historical and brotherly ties,
calling for continuing joint coordination and cooperation in various
fields, according to a Finance Ministry statement.
They said this process should serve common interests, enhance the
development process, and fulfill the aspirations of the two brotherly
countries’ leadership and people.
