Amman, July 7 (Petra) – Four people have died and eight others are
missing after heavy rains triggered flooding in China’s southern
Guangxi region.
According to the Chinese news agency Xinhua, Hengzhou City and
Binyang County recorded torrential rainfall that exceeded normal
levels over a 24-hour period, affecting 84,700 people.
Authorities have evacuated 53,808 residents, with evacuation efforts
continuing in the affected areas. In Binyang County, all 8,150
residents identified for evacuation have been safely relocated.
