Amman, Sept. 27 (Petra) – Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Committee
Chairman Ahmad Malkawi met with Mexican Ambassador to Jordan Jacob
Prado González on Sunday to explore municipal affair cooperation.
During the meeting, Malkawi pointed to the “strong” relations between
Jordan and Mexico, stressing GAM’s commitment to building joint
initiatives.
Malkawi stated that closer collaboration between Amman and Mexico
City will drive “sustainable” urban development, upgrade municipal
services, and improve daily life for residents.
González, for his part, praised GAM’s efforts to bolster ties with
international partner cities.
He lauded Amman’s urban, cultural, and municipal progress, as well as
GAM’s infrastructure projects elevating public services across the
capital.
