Gaza, Jan 13 (Petra) – The Khan Younis Municipality in southern Gaza warned on Monday of an impending disaster after water wells, sewage treatment plants, and the water desalination plant ceased operations due to a fuel shortage.
In a statement, the municipality highlighted the severe risks facing 1.1 million displaced and resident individuals as most municipal services are now non-operational amid winter storms and freezing temperatures.
