Jerash, July 28 (Petra) – The Hippodrome Theatre turned into a
vibrant crossroads of the world on its fifth night at the 40th Jerash
Festival of Culture and Arts, drawing eager crowds for an
unforgettable showcase of international talent.

With the Governor of Jerash, Malek Khraisat, and the Mayor of Greater
Jerash, Ahmed Mohammed Bani Yassin, among the packed audience, the
evening kicked off at 8:00 PM with a deep dive into Gulf heritage.
The Kuwaiti Al-Jahra Troupe set the stage ablaze with authentic folk
dances, traditional songs, and striking costumes that paid homage to
Kuwaiti roots.

Energy levels skyrocketed when South Korea’s “KISU” took over.
Merging modern rhythms, dynamic choreography, and infectious vocals,
the performance instantly captivated the amphitheater, turning the
historic venue into a buzzing sea of movement and dance.

The musical journey continued as the Harmony Arab Choir returned for
a second consecutive night, enchanting festival-goers with rich vocal
arrangements. Their setlist bridged generations, moving seamlessly
from beloved Jordanian folk tunes to timeless medleys honoring icons
like Umm Kulthum, Amr Diab, and Ahmed Saad.

The night reached its grand finale with a spellbinding performance by
Palestinian artist Zuhair Francis. Hailing the 40th edition of the
festival as a premier regional event, Francis delivered a powerful
set that kept the audience singing and celebrating well into the
night, proving once again that music speaks a universal language.
