Amman, Sept. 3 (Petra) – The government is launching “Farah” digital
spokesperson service, which was developed using artificial
intelligence (AI) technologies.
This initiative is the “first of its kind” in the region and the
world, aimed to integrate digital technology to deliver government
information to citizens and stakeholders in a “clear and simplified”
manner.
In a post announcing the launch on X platform, Minister of Government
Communication and Official Spokesperson, Dr. Mohammad Momani, stated
that the government will launch the the new digital spokesperson
service, as part of its ongoing efforts to employ digital technology
and AI tools in communication, present public decisions and policies,
and make information “accessible”.
As a government digital communication tool, Momani noted that “Farah”
aims to provide information for citizens and stakeholders and
enhance its accessibility, keep pace with the rapid development of
digital communication options and AI developments.
He added that this step to integrate AI technologies is part of the
government’s policy to develop the government communication system,
enhance speed and accuracy of official information delivery, and
expand communication channels with citizens.
