Amman, July 5 (Petra) – The Ministry of Water and Irrigation said on
Sunday that eligible landowners in the Jordan Valley may obtain
permits to drill saline groundwater wells under specific conditions.
Applicants must own or have rights to at least two agricultural units
or a single plot of 50 dunams or more.
The ministry stated that licenses are issued only after completing
all technical and legal requirements.
