Amman, July 16 (Petra) — Minister of Government Communication and
Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani on Thursday marked the 57th
anniversary of the the Jordan News Agency (Petra), highlighting its
role in documenting national achievements and delivering professional
news coverage.
In a statement published on the X platform, Momani described the
state news agency as a reliable reference for journalists,
researchers, and citizens, noting its nearly six-decade history as an
integral institution in the country’s media landscape.
Momani expressed appreciation for the agency’s staff and their
contributions, emphasizing Petra’s ongoing mission to provide
objective reporting and project the government’s official perspective
both regionally and internationally.
