Amman, July 18 (Petra) — Seasonal summer conditions are expected
across most regions on Saturday, while hot weather will prevail in
the badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the
Meteorological Department. Winds will be moderate northwesterly,
occasionally strengthening.

A slight rise in temperatures is forecast for Sunday, bringing
relatively hot conditions to most areas, and hot to very hot weather
to the badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate
northwesterly winds are expected, with occasional activity in the
desert regions.

These atmospheric conditions are projected to persist through Monday
and Tuesday, with continued hot to very hot temperatures in low-lying
and badia areas alongside moderate, periodically active northwesterly
winds.

On Saturday, temperatures in East Amman will range between a high of
34 degrees Celsius and a low of 24 degrees Celsius, while West Amman
will see a maximum of 32 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22 degrees
Celsius.

In the northern highlands, temperatures are expected to reach 29
degrees Celsius, dropping to 19 degrees Celsius, while the Sharah
highlands will record a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 20
degrees Celsius. The badia regions will experience a high of 38
degrees Celsius and a low of 23 degrees Celsius, and the plains will
range between 33 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius.

For the lower-elevation areas, the northern Jordan Valley is forecast
to reach 40 degrees Celsius with a low of 27 degrees Celsius, while
the southern Jordan Valley will see a high of 42 degrees Celsius and
a low of 28 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures at the Dead Sea will peak at 41 degrees Celsius and drop
to 28 degrees Celsius, and the Gulf of Aqaba is forecast to
experience a high of 42 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 29 degrees
Celsius.
