Gulf Cooperation Council decries Iranian attacks on Jordan, Kuwait

Amman, July 30 (Petra) — The Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC)
Secretary-General, Jasem Budaiwi, on Thursday condemned renewed
Iranian attacks targeting Jordan and Kuwait.

In a statement, Budaiwi called the strikes a “blatant violation of
state sovereignty and international law,” warning that the dangerous
escalation threatens regional security and stability.

He pledged the GCC’s “full solidarity” with Jordan and Kuwait,
stressing the bloc’s complete support for all measures both nations
take to safeguard their security and sovereignty.
