Gulf Cup 27: Saudi Arabia Top Group A after Kuwait Win

Jeddah, September 23 (QNA) – Saudi Arabia defeated Kuwait 1-0 in the match played today at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in the opening round of Group A of the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup football tournament.
Kuwait’s Yousef Al Haqqan scored the only goal of the match, an own goal in the 73rd minute, to gift Saudi Arabia their first three points. They top the group after Iraq and Oman drew 1-1. (QNA)
