Hajj Fund’s profits at around JD24.52m last year-Director

Amman, July 15 (Petra) –Director General of Hajj Fund, Fouad Kouri,
said the fund achieved profits of approximately JD24.52 million last
year, adding that net distributable amounts reached JD18.68 million,
enabling the profit distribution at a rate of 4.8% to depositors and
Hajj Affairs trustees.

In a statement Wednesday, Kouri noted the fund has expanded its
services to offer “diverse” Islamic financing programs, based on
specialized credit studies and “advanced” digital systems that have
contributed to increased operational efficiency, enhanced portfolio
quality, and risk mitigation.

In the real estate investment sector, he stated the fund has
developed several commercial complexes in prime locations in Amman,
Zarqa, Aqaba, Karak, and Ma’an.

These projects, he noted, have contributed to the growth of the
fund’s assets, stimulated the construction sector, created job
opportunities, and generated stable returns.

By the end of 2025, he said the number of subscribers also increased
to about 85,000 savers, compared to 75,000 in the previous year,
while the savings value amounted to about JD421 million, reflecting
the “growing” confidence of citizens in the fund’s services.

He said 11,573 savers were able to perform the pilgrimage through the
fund by the end of 2025.
