Amman, July 13 (Petra) — Lower House Speaker Mazen Qadi has sent a
cable of condolences to Qatari Shura Council Speaker Hassan Al-Ghanim
following the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
In the cable, sent on behalf of the House of Representatives, Qadi
expressed his sincere condolences over Sheikh Hamad’s passing.
He recalled the late sheikh’s national and humanitarian
contributions, his service to Qatar, and his support for Arab and
Islamic causes.
