International Food, Food Tech Exhibition Draws Business Interest

Amman, Sept. 7 (Petra) –The International Food and Food Tech
Exhibition attracted business owners, visitors and those interested
in the food industry, as well as companies and manufacturers from
Jordan and abroad.

The three-day exhibition, which concluded Sunday evening and was
organized by Nabd International for Exhibitions and Conferences,
provided participants and visitors with an opportunity to learn about
the latest technologies and solutions used in food manufacturing and
to connect with various stakeholders in the food industry.

The exhibition brought together companies specializing in food and
beverages and food industry technologies, as well as government
decision-makers and international organizations concerned with the
food industry.

Participating companies represented food and beverage production,
dairy and meat products, frozen foods, food ingredients and
additives, manufacturing equipment, packaging, cold chains,
technological solutions, food services and hospitality.

Director General of Nabd International Al-Anoud Jarrar said the
exhibition brought together 200 companies from 25 Arab and foreign
countries, in addition to Jordan. She said the event included
business-to-business meetings to discuss opportunities for commercial
partnerships, opening new markets and learning about the latest
technologies and solutions used in food manufacturing.

In a statement issued Monday, Jarrar said the fourth edition of the
exhibition focused on food security, challenges and technological
solutions in food manufacturing, production-line automation,
supply-chain sustainability and strengthening regional food security.
It also presented the latest developments and innovations in food
manufacturing, equipment and technologies related to packaging.

Jarrar stressed the importance of organizing specialized exhibitions
in Jordan to support various economic sectors, promote their
activities and highlight Jordanian products and the progress made in
their development. She also pointed to their role in strengthening
business networking opportunities and attracting investment.
