Baghdad, February 23 (QNA) – Two ISIS affiliates were arrested Monday in Babil and Kirkuk Governorates in central and northern Iraq, the Iraqi security forces announced in a statement Monday.
The statement added that the security personnel pursued the remnants of those affiliates within the operations zones based on intel reports, which resulted in their detention.
In addition, the security personnel conducted scouring operations in Saladin Governorate in northern Iraq, which resulted in taking down temporary ISIS hideouts.
The Iraqi forces have been constantly announcing the detention of ISIS affiliates in hybrid operations carried out in various parts of the country, especially in the northern and western parts. (QNA)
