Amman, Oct. 19 (Petra) – The Israeli occupation army announced Sunday evening that an officer and a soldier were killed, and another soldier wounded, in fighting in Rafah, southern Gaza, as Israel carried out a series of airstrikes and artillery bombardments throughout the day.
According to Israel’s Channel 12, the occupation army said the casualties were members of Battalion 932 of the Nahal Brigade, which has been leading the systematic destruction operations in Rafah and maintains full control over the city.
The channel also reported that the army had struck around 100 targets across the Gaza Strip since the early morning hours.
