Israeli Forces Enter Quneitra, Daraa Countryside in Southern Syria, Arrest Two

Damascus, March 4 (QNA) – Israeli forces arrested a young man and a child from the town of Kodna in Syria’s Quneitra countryside after a military unit consisting of about 20 vehicles carried out an incursion into the town, local sources reported.

Another Israeli force also advanced into the Wadi al-Raqad area west of Daraa, where it set up a military checkpoint. No arrests were reported.

Syria has repeatedly said such incursions violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, which established a ceasefire line between Syria and Israel following the 1973 war, and has called for Israeli forces to withdraw from Syrian territory. (QNA)
