Ramallah, July 2 (Petra) – Israeli occupation forces demolished
Palestinian homes, residential structures, and agricultural
facilities across the occupied West Bank on Thursday and detained 25
Palestinians during widespread raids.

Israeli bulldozers began demolishing residential structures and
livestock sheds in the Ain Al-Hilweh community in the northern
valley.

Malih Village Council Chairman Mahdi Daraghmeh said the forces
demolished structures belonging to a resident despite an Israeli
supreme court order preventing the demolition.

In Burqin, west of Salfit, Israeli forces accompanied by a military
bulldozer demolished part of an unoccupied, single-story house in the
town’s northern Al-Balata area. The Burqin Municipal Council said the
house covered 100 square meters and was ready for occupancy.

Israeli forces also began demolishing a two-story house in the
Khirbet Al-Deir area of Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem. Tuqu Municipal
Council Director Tayseer Abu Mufleh said each floor covered 200
square meters. He added that Israeli forces sealed off the area and
prevented residents from reaching the demolition site.

In Duma, south of Nablus, Israeli authorities demolished an
agricultural shed used for raising livestock after military vehicles
and a bulldozer entered the village at dawn.

The demolitions come amid an escalation in the destruction of
Palestinian homes and property, as part of an ongoing policy aimed at
displacing residents and seizing land for settlement expansion.

Separately, Israeli settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in
occupied Jerusalem under heavy police protection.

The Jerusalem Governorate said the settlers suspiciously toured the
compound and performed provocative Talmudic rituals, while Israeli
police imposed restrictions on worshippers entering the mosque.

Israeli occupation forces also carried out widespread raids and
arrests across West Bank cities, towns, and refugee camps, detaining
25 Palestinians, including two minors and the father of a Palestinian
killed by Israeli forces.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society said the raids involved heavy
gunfire and resulted in confrontations, injuries, and cases of tear
gas inhalation.
