Amman, June 30 (Petra) –Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO)
and International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO) – Kuwait on
Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement to implement the “Masar”
project for managing Micro- and small-scale enterprises (MSEs).

This agreement falls within the framework of the ongoing joint
partnership to enhance economic empowerment and support the most
vulnerable groups in Jordan.

According to a JHCO statement, the project aims to train 2,000
entrepreneurs from MSEs to provide the necessary skills and
knowledge to manage their enterprises “efficiently.”

The project will also develop the beneficiaries’ capabilities in
financial planning, resource management, marketing, and project
sustainability, which would improve their economic opportunities and
enhance their self-reliance.

“Masar” represents a new step in Jordanian-Kuwaiti cooperation in the
humanitarian and development fields.

It also reflects the “deep brotherly and historic” ties between
Jordan and Kuwait, based on the values ​​of solidarity and joint
action. A shared commitment to serving humanity and empowering
communities.

Talking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Hussein Shebli, JHCO
Secretary-General, affirmed that the partnership with the
International Islamic Charitable Organization represents an
“effective model” of pan-Arab developmental cooperation.

Shebli noted “Masar” (Path) is “not limited to training alone, but
focuses on investing in people and empowering entrepreneurs and
project owners with the tools to build a more stable and productive
future.”

Shebli added that the project marks a “new” milestone in the record
of joint achievements between the two institutions, reflecting their
commitment to promoting “sustainable” development and creating “true”
opportunities for entrepreneurship and productivity, leaving a
tangible impact on the lives of beneficiaries and their communities.

The JHCO underlined its continued commitment to building “strategic”
partnerships that support economic empowerment programs and open
“fresh” horizons for MSEs owners, within a vision aimed at
transforming support into opportunities and addressing the need for
sustainable productive capacity.
