Amman, Aug. 6 (Petra)– The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates
Affairs on Thursday condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted a
passenger bus in the city of Jaramana, in the Damascus countryside of
the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.
The ministry’s spokesperson, Ambassador Fouad Majali, reaffirmed
Jordan’s full solidarity with the government and people of Syria and
reiterated the Kingdom’s rejection of all forms of violence and
terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability.
Majali also renewed Jordan’s firm support for Syria’s security,
stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its
citizens.
He expressed Jordan’s deepest condolences and sympathy to the Syrian
government and people, as well as to the families of the victims,
wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
