Amman, Aug. 30 (Petra) — Jordan’s national basketball team lost 126-93 to Australia on Sunday in Manila in the fourth window of the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
The result left Jordan with two defeats in the window after an 82-81 overtime loss to the Philippines.
Jordan now holds a 5-3 record in Group E, which also includes Australia, Iran, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Syria.
The national team will continue its qualifying campaign in the fifth and sixth windows as it seeks to secure a place at the 2027 FIBA World Cup.
