Amman, August 3 (Petra) – Jordan is hosting a meeting on Wednesday of
the foreign ministers of the Arab states serving on the Arab
Ministerial Committee tasked with coordinating international efforts
to confront illegal Israeli policies and measures in occupied
Jerusalem.
The meeting will be attended by the Secretary-General of the League
of Arab States and the foreign ministers of Indonesia, Pakistan,
Turkey and Malaysia.
Participants will discuss developments in Jerusalem and its Islamic
and Christian holy sites to form a unified position in response to
the escalating Israeli measures targeting the city’s identity and its
Islamic and Christian holy sites.
In addition to Jordan, the committee comprises Tunisia, Algeria,
Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Iraq, Palestine, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco and the
Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
