Amman, July 9 (Petra) — Chief Commissioner of the Civil Aviation
Regulatory Commission (CARC) Capt. Deifallah Farajat said on Thursday
that Jordanian airspace remains fully open and that air traffic is
operating normally.

Farajat said all civil aviation facilities in the Kingdom continue to
operate efficiently, maintaining a high level of readiness amid
current regional developments.

He added that air traffic through Jordanian airspace, as well as
operations at Queen Alia International Airport, is proceeding
smoothly with close coordination among relevant authorities to
address any circumstances arising from the regional situation.

The CARC Chief also underlined the Commission’s commitment to
safeguarding passengers’ rights and ensuring they receive necessary
support and solutions. He called on passengers affected by flight
delays or disruptions involving certain airlines to contact the
concerned airlines directly to request alternative arrangements.

Farajat noted that passengers’ rights to such assistance are
guaranteed under regulations published on the Commission’s official
website and urged passengers requiring support to contact the

He concluded by saying that CARC is closely monitoring air traffic
developments and the regional situation in continuous coordination
with all relevant parties to ensure the highest standards of safety
and security for civil aviation in the Kingdom.
