Amman, July 23 (Petra) — Medical staff of Jordanian Field Hospital
South Gaza/10 performed two “qualitative” surgeries as part of the
medical and humanitarian services provided by the Jordan Armed
Forces-Arab Army (JAF) to residents of the Gaza Strip.

The general surgery team successfully removed a benign fatty mass
about 10 centimeters long from deep within a muscle in a patient who
had suffered from the abcess for three years. The procedure was
performed under local anesthesia through a precise surgical incision,
contributing to a faster recovery.

In a separate case, general and pediatric surgery staff saved the
life of a 9-year-old girl brought to the hospital in critical
condition after being wounded by shrapnel from an explosion.

Surgeons performed emergency surgery to repair a heart injury and
control bleeding before transferring the patient to intensive care
once her condition stabilized.

In a statement, relatives of both patients expressed gratitude to the
Jordanian medical staff for the specialized care that contributed to
their treatment and improved condition.

The interventions reflect the hospital staff’s level of competence
and readiness, and their continued role in providing medical care and
easing suffering of Gaza residents.
