Amman, March 29 (QNA) – King Abdullah II of Jordan met on Sunday with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is visiting the Kingdom.
During their meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East.
King Abdullah II reiterated his condemnation of the ongoing Iranian attacks on Jordan and several Arab countries, stressing the need to respect sovereignty of states and intensify international efforts to reach a comprehensive and sustainable de-escalation through diplomatic means.
He also warned of the dangers of a prolonged conflict and its potential to exacerbate economic pressures on the region and the world.
For his part, President Zelenskyy condemned the attacks targeting Jordan and the other countries in the region, emphasizing the need to restore stability in the Middle East. (QNA)
