Amman, 2 Sept (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday
visited National Press, which is celebrating the centenary of its
foundation, and inaugurated the company’s new expansion project, the
printing and packaging unit.
His Majesty was briefed on the National Press’ 100-year history and
growth, which scaled to its current production capacity of nearly 10
million books a year, and toured the new expansion facilities, which
aim to serve the needs of key sectors, such as food and
pharmaceutical industries.
Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh accompanied the
King on the visit.
