Beirut, June 29 (QNA) – Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun met on Monday with Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander, Admiral Brad Cooper, currently visiting Lebanon, to discuss preparations for implementing the framework agreement reached during recent Lebanese-US-Israeli talks in Washington.
President Aoun thanked Admiral Cooper for US President Donald Trump’s support for Lebanon and efforts to promote security and stability. He also reaffirmed the Lebanese state’s commitment to extending its authority, through the Lebanese Armed Forces, to the country’s southern international border. (QNA)
