Maan, Sept 13 (Petra) — The Maan Awqaf Directorate has reached a
93.9% completion rate in its geospatial mapping project for local
mosques and affiliated sites, following intensive field operations by
technical teams.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the directorate said field
operations are proceeding according to a precise methodology. The
project aims to advance institutional performance by utilizing
geographic data for planning and monitoring, as well as improving the
operational efficiency of mosques and endowment properties to support
decision-making and enhance service quality.
The directorate affirmed that field teams will continue working to
finalize the project in line with the ministry’s plans to modernize
the management of endowment lands and mosques.
