Beijing, June 28 (QNA) – A magnitude 5.29 earthquake struck Sichuan Province in southwestern China on Sunday.
The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
China is one of the most earthquake-prone countries due to its geographical location on the Pacific Ring of Fire, where several tectonic plates meet. (QNA)
