Management Service Launched on Taqa Platform
Muscat, 12 Mar
(ONA) — The Ministry of Energy and Minerals announced the expansion of its
services for investors in the mining sector in the Sultanate of Oman. The
updated services are provided via “Taqa” digital services
platform.The expansion will include the management of mining
licenses and the platform’s current services, which include managing auctions
for public sites and concession areas.
The new
technologies on “Taqa” platform bolster the investment experience of
the mining sector through a set of features aimed at facilitating user
experience. The upgrade includes the introduction of a user guide to view all
applicable procedures and the establishment of a centre for messages and
notifications about all updates.
Taqa platform
seeks to link and integrate procedures, enhance the automation of bidding for
mining opportunities, streamline corporate registration procedures and related
operations, introduce an order tracking system and facilitate the automatic and
direct collection of fees.
Through its
digital platform, Taqa, the Ministry of Energy and Minerals announced 6 mining
concession areas as part of its efforts to boost the energy and minerals sector
with unique investment opportunities that attract local and foreign investors.
