24 Dec 2025 (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed lower
today, declining by 0.05 percent.
The
MSX 30 Index concluded the trading session at 5,944.80 points, registering a
drop of 2.96 points from the previous close of 5,947.76 points.
Total
trading turnover reached RO 29,362,140, reflecting a decline of 2.29 percent
compared to the previous session’s value of RO 30,049,389.
MSX
market report noted that the overall market capitalization dropped by 0.024
percent from the last trading day to approximately RO 32.15 billion.
The
trading activity of non-Omani investors saw purchases worth RO 3,104,000,
representing 10.57 percent of the total market activity. Their sales amounted
to RO 1,888,000, accounting for 6.43 percent. This resulted in a net investment
inflow of RO 1,216,000 from non-Omani investors, marking an increase of 4.14
percent.
