29 Dec 2025 (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed lower
today, decreasing by 44.1 percent.
The
MSX 30 Index concluded the trading session at 5,896.41 points, registering a
drop of 44.1 points from the previous close of 5,940.46 points.
Total
trading turnover reached RO 23,889,149, reflecting a decrease of 36.9 percent
compared to the previous session’s value of RO 37,840,464.
MSX
market report noted that the overall market capitalization went down by 0.324
percent from the last trading day to approximately RO 32.07 billion.
The
trading activity of non-Omani investors saw purchases worth RO 1,932,000,
representing 8.09 percent of the total market activity. Their sales amounted to
RO 1,457,000, accounting for 6.10 percent. This resulted in a net investment
inflow of RO 475,000 from non-Omani investors, marking an increase of 1.99
percent.
