11 Jan 2026 (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed higher
today, increasing by 0.62 percent.
The
MSX 30 Index concluded the trading session at 6,163.73 points, registering a
rise of 37.7 points from the previous close of 6,126 points.
Total
trading turnover reached RO 56,609,538, reflecting a rise of 7.4 percent
compared to the previous session’s value of RO 52,699,412.
MSX
market report noted that the overall market capitalization went up by 0.368
percent from the last trading day to approximately RO 33.05 billion.
The
trading activity of non-Omani investors saw purchases worth RO 1,953,000,
representing 3.45 percent of the total market activity. Their sales amounted to
RO 1,950,000, accounting for 3.44 percent. This resulted in a net investment
inflow of RO 4,000 from non-Omani investors, marking an increase of 0.01
percent.
