Muslim World League decries Iran’s attacks on regional states

Amman, July 15 (Petra) – The Muslim World League (MWL) on Wednesday
condemned Iran’s ongoing offensives as a threat to regional security
and stability and a direct violation of international law, the UN
Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.

In a statement, the MWL also blasted Tehran’s recent attacks,
including strikes on Kuwaiti border posts, an offshore drilling rig
owned by the Kuwait Oil Company, the Kuwaiti Consulate General in
Basra, Iraq, and two Emirati oil tankers transiting the Strait of
Hormuz.

The league slammed the recurrent attacks as “violations of
international norms that undermine regional peace efforts.”

Pledging solidarity with the affected nations, the MWL expressed
support for “all necessary measures” taken by these countries to
safeguard their sovereignty, security, and citizens.
