Amman, Jan. 7 (Petra) – The Israeli army announced Tuesday the death of the commander of the 932nd company of the Nahal Brigade along with his deputy, who was expected to succeed him, during battles in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip.
Israeli Army Radio confirmed that 43 officers and soldiers were killed during the recent operation in northern Gaza.
The report also noted that since the start of the war, 63 company commanders and 20 deputy commanders have been killed in ground battles in the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon.
