Amman, Sept. 9 (Petra) — A nationwide initiative aimed at
identifying promising entrepreneurs, creative projects and emerging
talent will launch Sunday, with activities planned across the
Kingdom’s governorates.

The Jordan Women Entrepreneurs Forum and Festival, organized by the
Arab Institute for Entrepreneurs and Innovators in partnership with
Edama Training and Consulting Foundation, will provide a platform for
women and young people to showcase entrepreneurial ventures,
innovative ideas and creative talent.

Edama Director Hussam Hamdan told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that
the initiative will tour the governorates to identify local projects
and talent through a unified online nomination process and field
visits conducted in cooperation with community organizations.

Participating projects and initiatives will be evaluated based on
their social impact, level of innovation and potential for
sustainability, with promising entries selected for further
development and support, Hamdan said.

Each stop will feature exhibitions showcasing entrepreneurial
projects, handicrafts and home-based products, alongside a technology
and innovation pavilion for digital solutions and smart initiatives.
Jordanian art and national heritage will also form part of the
exhibitions.

An interactive stage will offer participants opportunities to
demonstrate their skills through public speaking and leadership
competitions, poetry and literary readings, as well as cultural and
folkloric performances.

The initiative will also provide participants with free advisory
services and specialized workshops in project management and digital
marketing, in addition to training grants and other support for
outstanding participants.

Hamdan said the program is designed to help participants develop
their ideas and turn them into viable, sustainable ventures, while
encouraging greater participation by women and young people in
economic activity and entrepreneurship.
